My name is Jessica Hailey Childers. I was born in Huntington Beach California in 1993. I am now 13 years old attending the 8th grade at Dwyer Middle School in Huntington Beach California. I grew up in West Minister, California until the summer going into 2cd grade. That summer my family and I moved to Germany to help my family and there business running a four star hotel. That year was a great experience for and my family. I was going to attend a private school for people who spoke English but instead I attended a public school where I was taught in German and worked with Germans. I learned many different things that ear and spoke the language almost fluently. I have still held on to some and hope to keep it through out my life. After the 2cd grade my family and I moved back to the United States. When I came back I was very interested in theater and musical theater. I now wish to take the next step and move on to something more professional; and to get into the television business doing something I love. I don’t have anywhere but to go up.
Acting is my life but it isn’t the only thing I love to do. For example, I have been a girl scout for about 8 years. I also love sports and at the moment I play hockey with my younger brother as a teammate, my older brother as the assistant coach, and my dad as the coach. I also attend the Clubhouse Theater and have for 6 years. I am in the advanced cast working on a show called “Ax of Murder” and I play Bonnie the director (the lead). I love Clubhouse so much and so I’m also the choreographer for the beginner /intermediate classes and I also help backstage, snack bar, stage manager, props, costumes, and much more. Doing all of this I don’t expect pay because I love going it and it’s for a good cause. People say I’m crazy because I’m so busy but hockey, girl scouts, and clubhouse isn’t all that I do I’m also on a bowling team with my friends. With all of this school may seem hard but I am a strait A/B student and have been all my life. I make sure to set aside time for friends and family and boy do I love hanging out with them. I wouldn’t be Jessica with out them supporting my every move.
I expect to go far in entertaining people. I want kids to look up to me and say I want to be like you. There are people like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Brittany Spears who have major problems and are bad role models well I don’t want that. I expect to go far and be successful but still am the same me in the end. My mom says the 1 out of 100 people make it and my exact response is “I want to be that one.”
